Examinations 2020-2021- "A Circus"? To have or not to have?

To have or not to have? The question that bothers our education system today.

But has anyone asked the children what lies in their minds and hearts?

“Butterflies! “ Shouts some while some say why do we even study?

This is the second year that we have struggled with this issue and it feels like we are where we started.

( ie. nowhere)

While children struggle to focus and finish their portion, we can hear some parents discussing the tuition fees and how futile their efforts have been to help their child .

Just like in a circus, we feel good to watch from the stands and feel amused at the scenario and still feel helpless as we have no control over it.

The year 2020-21 - examinations have been fun and partly amusing for us outsiders as we see the struggling education system strive to help the young generation of tech wizards.

While our youngsters wait for their future to unfold ,they continuously feel so discouraged and anxious.

So what can we do? Why don't we believe in making a foolproof system for online exams?

Why can't we scrap exams and give them only 40% importance and 60% to internals and projects?

Are we ready in India to make an exam friendly environment and challenge kids more on practical applicative assignments?

Food for thought!!! Circus ..... circus or let us get ourselves ready for A CHANGE in the future ...
