Anger has been something that no one has tried to understand as it's been an emotion that is aroused due to our feelings , our ego, our upbringing and experiences.

Have you often thought why some situations could instigate anger out of one person ,while the same situation may get no reaction from the other ?

Anger is a normal emotion that most people experience , every now and then.

Anger management is an approach designed to help you manage the emotional and physiological arousal that accompanies anger.

Some situations can't be in our control while some situations can change by just the way we handle our anger.

Let's understand 'Anger'.

How do we manage it?

some common strategies to cope are:

  1. Talk to somebody

  2. Deep breathe

  3. Go for walk

  4. Step away from situations

  5. Reframe your thinking.

CBT skills:

  • Identify the trigger and your response

  • Practice new skills to cope and respond better

  • Set some specific and achievable goals

  • Work towards possible solutions and implement it.

  • Self-monitoring

if Anger is not managed well

  1. your feelings can turn to an aggressive behaviour .

  2. or you may be very withdrawn .

  3. or you may turn your anger inwards , jeopardising your physical health and mental well-being.
